Withdrawal Policy

This policy applies if you are a consumer — that is, if you enter into the contract for purposes that are predominantly outside your trade, business or profession.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract was concluded — that is, the day on which your subscription was successfully taken out, including where it begins with a free trial.

by means of a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post, or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. An email saying that you withdraw, and identifying the address your subscription was taken out with, is entirely sufficient.
To meet the withdrawal deadline it is enough for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. The message does not have to have reached us by then, only to have been sent.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
Does the right expire once I start using the trainer?
No. For digital services the law does allow the right of withdrawal to expire early — under § 356(5) BGB — but only where the provider has obtained the consumer’s express consent to performance beginning before the end of the withdrawal period and the consumer’s acknowledgement that this consent extinguishes the right of withdrawal.
We do not currently obtain that consent and acknowledgement at checkout. Accordingly the exception does not apply to your contract, no proportionate payment is owed for use made during the period, and your right of withdrawal runs for the full 14 days regardless of how much you have used the service in the meantime.
Withdrawal is not the same as cancellation
These are two different things and it is worth keeping them apart:
- Withdrawal (this page) is a statutory right available for 14 days after the contract is concluded. It unwinds the contract and you get your money back.
- Cancellation (see Terms of Service, section 5) ends an ongoing subscription for the future. You can do it at any time, with effect from the end of the billing period you have already paid for, using the “Cancel subscription” link in the footer of every page — no sign-in required.
